Who are we?
Autisans Skills is a non-profit education and experiential learning programme. Our mission is to provide access to first-class education resources so anyone can learn anything, anywhere. We especially seek to help those with special education needs.
We aim to develop an online educational campus offering a flexible and inclusive learning environment focusing on developing home education, life skills, business skills, digital skills and more.
What problem are we trying to solve?
Parents of children with Special Education Needs (SEN) are forced to homeschool and do not receive financial aid from the government.
Parents and caregivers frequently make career sacrifices to provide this education. Household income typically affects educational opportunities and future outcomes, while existing educational resources within their budget are often inadequate.
What are we trying to do?
We raise money to develop a free to access online learning campus which provides structured educational resources for home educators.
We campaign for parents of SEN children who are homeschooling to be able to access government funding for home education resources.
How do we achieve this?
We campaign for and raise funds:
- for money to pay for the planning and creation of professional lesson plans and learning resources.
- for professional expertise to build and maintain a reliable online campus for home educators and students.
- to make sure home education is affordable and accessible to everyone regardless of background or financial status.
- to help parents of SEN children being home educated to access equipment, books and resources within their budget.
What difference will it make?
A good standard of education is the foundation allows people to focus on gaining skills, generating an earned income and improve themselves and their lifestyle. Access to structured learning resources, helps people to thrive regardless of their financial background.
